UK Ports On The Agenda For Freshwater
Next week, a team from Freshwater will be overseeing the delivery of this year’s British Ports Association Annual Conference and Exhibition, when it returns to The Humber for the first time in more than a decade.
Building on the success of the 2024 event, hosted by Portsmouth International Port, Freshwater was reappointed to deliver the 2025 event, which runs from 15-16 October at Forest Pines Hotel, Spa and Golf Resort.
To mark the occasion, we take a look back to Waterfront’s UK Ports Conference in London earlier this year, where we caught up with a range of key figures from the UK ports sector. Day one of UK Ports 2025 was chaired by the BPA’s chief executive, Richard Ballantyne OBE, while day two was introduced by Geraint Evans, CEO of the UK Major Ports Group.
In this collection of short videos, some of the UK’s leading port and maritime organisations, operators and professional advisors share their thoughts on the challenges and opportunities facing the ports sector – from offshore wind and shore power to industry skills and government engagement.
