For communication that delivers, you need an incredible team

It’s not just results that matter at Freshwater – people do too. Ensuring our team feels supported, valued, challenged and respected is not only the right thing to do, it’s what enables us to grow and thrive as an agency.

What does a career at Freshwater have to offer?

Careers at Freshwater come with endless opportunities. To develop. To learn. To do work that enthuses you. And to be part of a team that projects passion because we genuinely enjoy what we do.

Career progression

People don’t just choose to join Freshwater – they choose to stay. For over seven years on average. Why? We believe it’s rooted in a genuine commitment to offering careers that allow people to explore their potential, and to flourish.

We have a clear talent plan which links directly with individual performance reviews, that has seen many members of our team rise through the ranks. That’s pretty unusual (and we think impressive) in our industry.

Training and development

Every day is an opportunity to learn something new. No one sits in silos. We encourage teams to collaborate in order to share skills and knowledge across the business, and drive innovation. And we fund external training and networking opportunities to keep our team tapped into industry news and developments, and to make the most of their talents.

A competitive package

We offer competitive salaries including a pension scheme and performance benefits. Excellent holiday entitlement of up to 26 days’ holiday per year plus Bank Holidays and flexible working over Christmas and the New Year. We also fund membership of the CIPR, CIM or other relevant industry body for all staff.

Supporting health and wellbeing

We support the health and wellbeing of our team in lots of different ways. Including the brand new FW Flex, a progressive approach to hybrid working. Open conversations and support around mental health. Free flu injections and discounted healthcare schemes.

We recognise that we are a team of people, not machines. The Office for National Statistics says the average UK worker takes nine days of sick leave a year. Thanks to a proactive and progressive approach, Freshwater’s average is less than two days per employee. We think that says it all.

Welcoming environment

Delivering excellence. Achieving collaboratively. Building relationships. Displaying integrity. Embracing diversity. And projecting passion. We have open and friendly teams who bring our values to life day in, day out.

While we have these values in common, and professionalism at our core, no one at Freshwater is asked to leave their personality at the door. That leads to strong teams who support and challenge one another in equal measure. Of course, it also helps that we hold regular social events, embrace casual Fridays, annual agency away-days and spend our time in inspiring work spaces and offices at both sides of the M4.
