Where are the growth opportunites for the UK Ports Sector?
This month, Freshwater attended the UK Ports Conference, organised by our sister company Waterfront Conference Company.
The two-day conference had a jam-packed agenda, looking at the issues affecting the sector from port connectivity, funding and shipping trends through to improving sustainability, navigating the planning process and skills and recruitment.
At the event, expert speakers from across the sector also shared their views on what the growth opportunities are for ports currently.
Take a look at the videos below for some insights on the subject:
Geraint Evans, CEO, UK Major Ports Group
John Chaplin, Director of External Affairs & Special Projects, The Bristol Port Company
Miles Carden, CEO, Falmouth Harbour
Stephen Carr, Director of Public Affairs, Peel Ports
