New Account Manager for Freshwater’s London team
Media group Freshwater UK has appointed a new account manager, Sarah Mehigan, in its London office to further strengthen the consultancy’s offering.
Sarah has four years’ experience working both in-house and consultancy side, spanning a broad range of sectors including consumer, property, finance, transport, technology and energy.
After graduating from the University of Leeds with a BSc in Psychology, she worked at a number of London-based PR and marketing agencies before a stint in-house at The Royal Bank of Scotland.
She will play a key role across a number of Freshwater’s integrated accounts, providing strategic communications support through a variety of channels, such as media relations, social media and marketing, to a range of high profile clients.
Sarah is the latest in a number of new appointments across the Freshwater Group following a series of new business wins with both public and private sector clients including the League Against Cruel Sports and City & Guilds. Freshwater has also continued to be briefed on new projects from existing clients such as Curvissa, bonprix, Specsavers, Thompsons Solicitors, Unite the Union and BT.
Lucy Battle, director of Freshwater in London, says: “We’re really pleased to have Sarah on board. It’s vital to us to have experienced and talented members of the team in order to deliver truly integrated campaigns that meet and exceed client’s business objectives and Sarah is a key part of that.”
Headquartered in Cardiff with a turnover of £4m, Freshwater has 60 staff operating from all four capitals in the UK. Its diverse client base covers a range of sectors, including consumer, healthcare, professional and business services, transport, education, leisure and hospitality, industry and property.
