Freshwater celebrates clutch of industry awards
Freshwater has been successful in scooping a total of four awards at two high-profile industry ceremonies – the PRCA Dare Awards and the Wales HR Awards.
At the PRCA Dare Awards, hosted at St David’s Voco hotel in Cardiff, Freshwater beat tough competition to be crowned winners in two categories, securing the Covid-19 Engagement Award for the second year running, and winning the Team Culture and Community Award for the first time.
The Covid-19 Engagement Award 2022 recognised that, from the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Cardiff and London-based communications agency responded swiftly to the global pandemic by reviewing its business continuity plan and launching a number of initiatives to keep staff engaged while working remotely.
The Team Culture and Community Award 2022 was in recognition of how the agency goes “above and beyond serving their clients and customers”.
The Wales HR Awards 2022 celebrates Wales’ best in-house teams, consultants and HR industry experts for their outstanding contribution to HR.
Freshwater won the Employer of Choice Award, which recognises employers who have demonstrated dedication to improving their workforce and business environment through the promotion of CSR, health and wellbeing. They also secured the Best Response Covid-19 Award, which recognises businesses that responded ‘outstandingly’ to the huge challenges of the pandemic.
Sarah Whittle, Freshwater’s HR and operations director, said: “We are delighted to have walked away from two prestigious award ceremonies with not one, but two awards, on both occasions.
“These awards reflect our collaborative approach to working and are a true testament to our committed and dedicated team, who genuinely want the best for colleagues and for clients.”
