Elin Wyn

Elin Wyn has over 40 years’ experience as a journalist and media trainer. Trained at BBC Cymru Wales, Elin worked in a variety of senior journalism posts including Editor of Welsh language television news and Editor of S4C2 that broadcast the live proceedings of the National Assembly.

As a media trainer, Elin has worked extensively in Wales and abroad and clients include BT, Older People’s Commissioner for Wales, Snowdonia National Park Authority, WJEC, Barnados, the National Lottery and RNIB. She has also delivered bilingual media training for Welsh-speaking Welsh Government Cabinet Secretaries.

Elin is a fluent Welsh speaker, a former member of the Welsh Language Board and was Chair of Chapter Arts Centre, Cardiff for five years. She is currently an independent member of Bangor University Council and also chairs an advisory panel on the Welsh Government’s strategy on the Welsh language on health and social care.
