Freshwater Chief Executive joins PRCA Board of Management

Freshwater’s Chief Executive, Angharad Neagle, is to join the Board of Management of the Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA).

Angharad joined Freshwater in February 2008, after working in communications roles with the police, local government and in other PR and marketing agencies. She became director of Freshwater’s creative division in 2009 before being appointed group managing director in 2013 and joining the board in 2014. In addition to driving Freshwater’s daily operations for the past six years, Angharad has provided strategic counsel to some of the firm’s major clients.

Angharad said: “The communications industry is constantly evolving – and that’s what makes it both challenging and exciting. Despite all of the changes, the one thing that remains constant is the need for the industry to meet the highest standards in everything it does, and I’m looking forward to being part of a strong board that helps to set and uphold these principles of best practice.”

Francis Ingham MPRCA, Director General, PRCA, said: “Angharad joining our Board is great news both for the PRCA, and for the UK and Welsh PR industry. I know the passion that she feels for the future of PR, and her contribution as one of the new generation of dynamic PR leaders will be invaluable as we drive our industry forward. I look forward to the next PRCA Board meeting in Cardiff!”
