Freshwater secures Umbraco certified developer status

Freshwater’s digital team continues to go from strength-to-strength.

Freshwater’s senior developer, Nik Rimington has qualified in both Level 1 and Level 2 Umbraco development, securing certified developer status.

This badge of approval means Freshwater’s customers can access high-level skills and knowledge in the open source CMS system, which is currently used to power the websites of some of the world’s largest companies including Microsoft’s ASP.NET.

Having a certified Umbraco developer within its digital team ensures that Freshwater’s website recommendations can draw on up-to-date Umbraco knowledge alongside its existing, extensive website development experience.

The Umbraco training covers managing multilingual content and structure, integrating existing .NET applications, customisation and best practice.

Nik’s certified developer status comes hot on the heels of Freshwater becoming the only Welsh agency to have secured a place on all three of the Welsh Government’s digital frameworks: digital strategy, digital creative and digital marketing.

Director, Heather Jones, said: “Umbraco is a fantastic system for flexibility and integration, so securing certified developer status in this product will ensure we can match the best technology to our customers’ needs.”

Senior developer, Nik Rimington, said: “Whether it’s producing a simple static site or creating a site that requires complex integration with existing applications, we can provide comprehensive website development under one roof.”
