October highlights

Autumn is in full swing and our teams started the season with a bang. From delivering events and conferences across the country, including our own networking breakfast, to launching digital campaigns and wellbeing initiatives, here are some of our top highlights from October.

Our events team headed to North Wales to deliver Welsh Government’s Ireland and Wales shared statement celebration event and forum meeting which took place at Bangor University.

Meanwhile, our sister company Waterfront successfully ran three conferences – Planning for Infrastructure in Wales, Rail Freight Group Conference and Consultation for Stakeholder and Infrastructure.

The 10th of October marked World Mental Health day, so we launched our ‘Get Moving’ initiative which encourages individuals to spend at least 30 minutes a day away from their desks and outside, to look after their mental health.

When possible, teams have been completing walks together – during the working day – including Halloween when both our London and Cardiff offices dressed up and walked together.

In October, we also had the pleasure of welcoming a new cohort of Taylor Bennett Foundation trainees to our London office for a masterclass. We shared top tips on how to effectively write a press release, pitch to journalist and manage crisis communications.

And last – but certainly not least – we held our first-ever networking breakfast at our home, Hodge House. Three of our most senior and experienced members of staff covered all there is to know on reputation management, and we had the chance to catch up with new and familiar faces over coffee and pastries. We’re already looking forward to the next one…
