Freshwater to celebrate the role of health communicators at NHS Communicate conference

Freshwater is sponsoring NHS Communicate, a new conference for senior communicators to come together to discuss the future of NHS communication and engagement after the most unprecedented health emergency in over 70 years.

Delivered in partnership by NHS Providers, NHS Confederation, and the Centre for Health Communications Research (CHCR), the conference will celebrate the work undertaken by communicators across the NHS in the past year, and showcase new research to offer fresh perspective for the future.

Held virtually on 15 September, and hosted by Victoria Macdonald, health and social care editor for Channel 4 News, NHS Communicate will include key sessions on the future direction for health communication, the role of health communicators in the wellbeing agenda, reporting the pandemic, discovering what NHS chief executives want from their professional communicators and communication in the new health and care landscape of Integrated Care Systems.

Freshwater has come on board to support the conference for the first time and will be speaking in one of the break-out sessions on public views on the NHS.
