Delivering digital events for BT

Freshwater has worked with BT to deliver a series of webinars to promote the importance of cyber security and cyber security compliance for UK businesses.

We initially worked with BT and South West Digital Technology 20 to produce a digital event to demonstrate security threats presented by moving to agile working and how organisations can stay protected.

Following the success of this event, we have continued to work with BT to deliver further webinars. Our digital event delivery for BT has included end-to-end event management, including the design and production of branded virtual event platforms, build and management of digital registration facilities, managements and training of speakers and post-event reporting.

Freshwater was asked to deliver online events to reach the organisation’s business clients and IT leaders within UK businesses.

As well as providing and end-to-end virtual event management service, we were also asked to promote the event via social media and email campaigns in order to secure at least 100 registrations for each event.

We built a registration form and event platform for each of the events and worked with BT’s marketing team to promote the event via email (data purchase).

Our digital team identified key audiences to target on LinkedIn, launching and managing advertising campaigns to drive traffic to the event platform and resulting in registrations. Our in-house studio worked within BT’s existing brand guidelines to produce the event and registration platforms, associated marketing materials and event presentation, which included animation and video.

We’ve helped BT secure hosts and speakers for their events and provided technical support to their senior team. We also managed all technical elements of each live event, including polls and Q&As, and have also produced subtitled on-demand videos and follow up resources on the event platforms after the live events themselves.

We have received excellent feedback from BT and event attendees which has resulted in BT continuing to approach our events team to deliver further digital event.

We have exceeded the target of 100 event registrations for events and secured an average of 1,000 users on event platforms.
