Explore Export Wales at Cardiff City Stadium

Following its success in running the Wales Export Conference, Freshwater was selected to deliver Explore Export Wales at Cardiff City Stadium. Including a plenary session with Welsh Government Minister, Vaughan Gething MS, the event featured a day of seminars by trade experts, exhibitions from world-leading financial institutions and one-to-one meetings between Welsh business, market leaders and global partner organisations.

The client wanted to provide established traders, as well as new businesses considering exploring global markets, with up-to-date, specialist advice on all aspects of exporting, including trading with the European Union and securing Welsh Government support.

Freshwater provided end-to-end event management, designing the stage and set, developing the floorplan, building a dedicated platform and producing onsite signage. Freshwater coordinated the attendance – virtual and in-person – of speakers, delegates, exhibitors and overseas representatives, organising pre-event and onsite registration and providing badging, lanyards and audio-visual equipment. Freshwater delivered a fully bilingual, Covid-safe event.

Explore Export Wales created exciting and successful new connections between government and business. Delegates, exhibitors and oversea representatives provided positive feedback, citing excellent networking opportunities, particularly the one-to-one meetings and the scope for learning and growth. Delegates were enthusiastic about the calibre of the speakers and the quality of the event’s organisation.
