April Highlights
In our latest monthly roundup, we reflect on all of the team’s great work throughout April.
Our public sector and creative produced an animation for Swansea Council to highlight support available to parents and carers of children and young people with autism. The animation was launched during World Autism Acceptance Week 2024 and is featured on the new support pages on the council’s website.
Our events team delivered the Spring 2024 National Network Conversation: Equity and Inclusion virtual event on 23rd April, with more than 220 registered attendees, and also launched the registration and sponsorship/exhibition enquires for the British Ports Association Annual Conference, taking place in Portsmouth in October.
Marketing Communications were out and about for Specsavers during April, including attending the opening of a brand-new Specsavers store in North Wales, Porthmadog, which secured coverage in Business News Wales and the Cambrian News.
Waterfront launched two events – ERTMS and Digital Signalling, taking place in July, and the 32nd Annual Rail Freight Group Conference taking place in September.
As part of our wellbeing programme, we went on our first charity fundraising walk of the year.
Last, but not least, Freshwater has been shortlisted for the Living Wage Champion Awards in the Cultural and Creative Champion category – the winners for the awards will be announced on 11 July.
